Ok, I’ve never heard of this Worldwide Festival (WWF) before. So, what is it? But, this year, it’s coming to Singapore. Gilles Peterson is a DJ, so we know what WWF is about now.

Italian Festival 2008 Tomorrow At Takashimaya
Takashimaya will hold a seventeen days long Italian festival whose aim is to introduce Italian craft and products along with the Italian culture and lifestyle. This festival, that will bring to Singapore a range of exclusive merchandise as well as delicious treats like pizzas and Italian patisserie, is a joint collaboration with the Italian Trade Commission and will run concurrently with “A Touch of Italy”.

SingTel Unveiled F1 Simulators & SingTel Grid Girls

SingTel yesterday unveiled one of two custom-built simulators that will allow everyone to experience the adrenaline rush of being in the driver’s seat of a Formula 1 (F1) car.
The SingTel Ultimate Race replicates the night race in great detail, and drivers get the added thrill of whizzing past iconic Singapore landmarks such as the Esplanade and City Hall.
As the cars are mounted on motion-enabled platforms, drivers experience every thrilling hairpin turn, every heart-pounding skid, brake and crash while zooming down the actual Singapore street circuit at breakneck speeds. The first simulator will be located at the telco’s headquarters at Comcentre, while the second car will make its rounds around the island. SingTel is offering this rare experience absolutely free-of-charge.
For those who prefer to experience the simulator in the comfort of their home, the SingTel Ultimate Race has also been transformed into a PC game and can be downloaded from www.singtelrace.com.
