Timbre MusicFest 2008 (TMF 2008): Sept 19-28
Timbre MusicFest 2008 is a ten-day celebration of Timbre’s best and Singapore’s very own artists. TMF 2008 is a delicious menu of 100% homegrown talents to be featured on our stages from 19 to 28 Sep, playing host to different music themes each night.
Rare reunion of three pioneering bands from the heydays of Singapore music, Tony & Terry and Spencer; Tania; and former The Quests frontman’s new five-piece band, Vernon Cornelius Band.
Jack & Rai with a string quartet and musical guests? And backed by EIC? The musicians from popular cover band EIC recently released their debut album in stores now!. The full length concert will feature original tracks from the album.
The finest independent bands in Singapore present a night of new works – preview songs from The Fire Fight and Vertical Rush’s debut and sophomore albums respectively. Plus catchy anthems from Plainsunset’s acclaimed recent self-titled album.
