Singapore Turf Club Riding Centre

Launched on Wednesday, 1 October 2008, the Riding Centre is a community project by the Singapore Turf Club and its parent body, the Tote Board. The Centre’s primary aim is to promote riding to the general public, in particular school children from 8 to 18 years of age, at affordable prices.
Good news to guys in school! Riding will also be offered as a school Co-Curricular Activity for the first time. School children between eight and 18 years old can try their hands at horse riding.
Targeted for completion in September 2009, the Centre, located on a 3-hectare site next to the Singapore Racecourse at Kranji, will have two world-class riding arenas to cater to riders of all ages, from novices to the more experienced; a viewing gallery which can accommodate up to 250 people; an administration building with classrooms; a café as well as a tack shop selling riding equipment. The Centre will operate seven days a week, from 7am to 9pm.
